Lusaka woman stabs hubby to death

Police in Lusaka have arrested a 23 year old woman from Misisi Compound for stabbing her husband to death.

Police Spokesperson Esther Katongo has since identified the suspect as Pauline Banda and the deceased as Moses Mumbi aged 22 to death.

Ms Katongo explains that the incident happened yesterday around 17:30 hours in John Laing compound after a domestic dispute and a knife is suspected to have been used in the act.

“The body of the deceased was found in a pool of blood by his young brother who later reported the matter to Police and upon checking the body; it was found with a deep cut on the left side of the chest,” she explained.

Ms Katongo states that the suspect is in Police Custody and has since been warned cautioned for the offence of Murder.

She says the body of the deceased is lying in the University Teaching Hospital awaiting postmortem
