North Tourism Indaba coming

The Northern Province Administration has announced that it will soon hold a Tourism Indaba as one of the resolutions from the recent Expo.
Northern Province Permanent Secretary Elias Kamanga says delegates to the Indaba slated for the first quarter of 2019, will come from various institutions.
Speaking on investment which he said was the core business of the Expo, he said over 20 investors had made their investment pledges worth several billions of US Dollars with the majority of them signing their commitments publicly and witnessed by President Edgar Lungu.
Mr. Kamanga said, although investment pledges take time to mature, a number of the investors who had signed the letters of intent want to quickly actualize their pledges and that they were already putting pressure on his office to speed up the process of approval.
Both the Northern Province Tourism and Investment Expo and the Centenary to mark 100 years of the end of WWI held under the theme: *”Unlocking Investment Opportunities 100 years after the end of the First World War” from November 20 -25 in Kasama and Mbala were graced President Lungu.
