Zambia can become aviation hub in Africa – Mahogany Air

A Local Airline says Lusaka can become the Hub for aviation in the region if the cost of doing business in the sector is reviewed.
Mahogany Air Chief Executive Officer Dr. Jim Belemu says Zambia’s aviation industry records the highest growth as compared to other countries in Africa.
He has attributed this to the infrastructure development currently being experienced in the aviation sector in the country.
Dr. Belemu says infrastructure is key for driving growth in any sector adding that the instability that was there when his company decided to close is normalizing.
He further adds that people have confidence in the airline industry and has called on stakeholders and the government to come together and review the high cost of business in the aviation environment.
He was speaking on a telephone interview with Money FM News.
