The Economics Association of Zambia (EAZ) says for a country to be competitive, it needs to protect its economic interests and have policies that ensure that businesses strive.
EAZ President Dr. Lubinda Habazoka says economic dialogue is important and that Zambia needs to promote homegrown solutions to the challenges it faces.
He was speaking at the EAZ website launch and Media Breakfast ahead of the National Economic Forum slated for 25th and 26th July 2019 in Livingstone.
The Conference is aimed at coming up with recommendations on how Zambia and Africa can develop on its own.
