The Siavonga district Administration has commended the Road Development Agency RDA the timely response in rehabilitating the Siavonga – Chirundu road.
District Commissioner Lovemore Kanyama has disclosed that the road was close to being cut off had the rains persisted in the district.
Mr. Kanyama has noted that his office will take advantage of the presence of the RDA in the district to ensure that they rehabilitate damaged township roads as well.
He says the district is part of the areas earmarked for resurfacing of township roads in a bid to make it more attractive as the second tourist town.
Mr. Kanyama says “the Road Development Agency came to siavonga on Wednesday the 13Th March, 2019 to work on road portions in siavonga district and they are currently on site. I salute the agency for adhering to my call on the need to work on that
