CSPR notes gaps in 7NDP implementation

The Civil Society for Poverty Reduction (CSPR) has noted some gaps in the implementation of the Seventh National Development Plan (7NDP) since it started.
CRPR executive director Patrick Nshindano says a report indicates that the second pillar, which highlights poverty reduction programs such as the social cash transfer have covered less than the targeted seven thousand people.
Mr. Nshindano has attributed the gaps to financial sector which he says is weak and the debt burden that the country currently has.
He says the afore mentioned factors are affecting the implementation of some projects in the country.
Meanwhile Mr. Nshindano says the education sector is least performing sector as regards the 7NDP as it did not meet the target.
He was Speaking during the launch of the performance barometer of the Seventh National Development Plan in Lusaka Today.
