Delayed K300 million payment to agro dealers will not affect forthcoming planting season.

The Ministry of Agriculture says delayed payment of 300 million kwacha to agro dealers who participated in the last farming season will not affect the forthcoming planting season.
Minister in Charge Michael Katambo explains to Money FM that his Ministry is waiting for the Ministry of Finance to make funds available to settle the outstanding balance.
Mr. Katambo adds that it is not the intention of government to delay payments to agro dealers.
The Agri-business Association of Zambia is demanding for 300 million kwacha arrears for service rendered during the past farmer input support program.
