Ndola’s Kantolomba Cemetery road to receive facelift.

Bwana Mukubwa Member of Parliament says part of the Constituency Development Fund has been set aside for the construction of the road leading to Kantolomba cemetery in Ndola.

Jonas Chanda told Money FM News in an interview that the gravel road leading into the cemetery is in a deplorable state with many big ditches, making it impassable whenever it rains.

Mr. Chanda said part of the CDF has been used to purchase diesel for the tipper truck and loader being used to fill up the ditches.
“I’m happy to say this cemetery gravel road is now being worked on to make it passable. We have used part of CDF to purchase diesel for the tipper truck and loader,” Mr. Chanda said.

He thanked the Road Development Agency for assistance with the tipper truck, Ndola Lime Limited for donating the waste rock, and Ndola City Council for providing the loader.

“I have since engaged Ndola City Council Town Clerk Mr Wisdom Bwalya and His Worship the Mayor Mr Amon Chisenga to assist with more diesel so that the road works can be completed – I’m very thankful for their support,” he added.
