Southern Boarder Traders Association lunch Food Policy Council.

Southern Boarders Traders Association (SBTA) says that the launch of the food policy council will harness how food is being distributed.

Speaking in an interview with Money FM Association Spokesperson Jacob Makambwe said that “it is the duty of the newly enacted council to monitor what comes on the market and make sure what people are eating is clean and nutritious.

Mr Makambwe adds that the initiative will make sure that what is being sold on the market is up to standards.”
He further added that Association recognizes the implementation has been a challenge and hopes that the food council will improve things starting from awareness in the community and to consumer.
