Adviser to the United States President says Zambia will among other Nine African countries benefit from the white house Ten million United States Dollars, state department funding for women entrepreneurs.
In a statement Issued by Press and Public Relations Embassy of the Republic of Zambia in Washington D.C, Advisor to United States President, Ivanka Trump announced a new partnership in support of a White House initiative that will expand support to women entrepreneurs.
Ms. Tramp said “the money will provide women entrepreneurs with seed funding to start and scale-up their enterprises.”
She said this new U.S. government interagency partnership will provide select African Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) graduates in Africa with seed funding to start and scale their enterprises.
The President Adviser said United States African Development Foundation will provide up to $10 million in grants to the most promising African AWE graduates.
The Women’s Global Development and Prosperity Initiative, W-GDP, aims to economically empower 50 million women in the developing world by 2025.
