Mine Suppliers shows a positive outlook for Mopani reopen.

The Association of Mine Contractors and Suppliers says despite the reopening of Mopani Copper Mines Contractors have not resumed operations due to employees undergoing safety and training amid COVID-19.
In an interview with Money FM News, Association President Augustine Mubanga said, “The recalled Mopani employees are undergoing safety and training to protect themselves against the virus hence contractors are only expected to resume operations with the mine after this is done.”
“Association is scheduled to have a meeting with the mine next week after which future plans will be known,” He noted.
“Association is expectant of positive results after the meeting,” He added.
Mopani Copper Mines has started recalling workers it sent on forced leave following decision to resume operations early this week.
