Mask Up – Booth tellers told

• People working in booths should always mask up.
• They interact with different people one on one.
• The second wave of Covid is more serious than the first one.

Mobile Money Business Association of Zambia has called on mobile money tellers to always adhere to Covid-19 regulations as they carry out their duties.
Speaking in an interview with Money FM News, Association Secretary General Chris Sinchende noted that the second wave of Covid-19 is more serious than the first one, therefore the need for the tellers to always mask up and sanitize their hands among other health measures.
Mr. Sinchende said mobile money tellers interact with different people on a daily basis, hence they are at high risk of contracting the virus.
“Our appeal is to those people working in booths. The second wave of the pandemic which is more serious than the first wave we had, we are appealing to all those who are working in booths to always mask up and sanitize.”
“Most of the times they are the people who are interacting with members of the community one on one, so this Covid -19 is serious hence let’s mask up,” Mr. Sinchende stated.
