Kamulanga Ward Police Post construction money available

• Police post to be named after late former Republican President, Michael Chilufya Sata.
• Contractor directed to build up the Police Post within a period of three months
• the Police post is meant to provide security for the citizenry

Kabwata Member of Parliament says money for the construction of Kamulanga Police Post is available citing the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) for Kabwata Constituency.
Speaking during ground breaking of Kamulanga Police Post, Given Lubinda has since directed the contractor to build up the Police Post within a period of three months stating that there is no reason construction should take longer than that.
Mr. Lubinda who is also Minister of Justice said the Police post is meant to provide security for the citizenry hence the need to finish it in time.
“Osa uza bantu kuti ndalama palibe (don’t tell people that there is no Money; Nyanja Translation) because you have all the CDF for the people of Kabwata Constituency,” Mr. Lubinda said
“You therefor have to build this police within the next three months” he directed.
The Law Maker has since revealed that the Police Post will be named after the Late Former Republican President Michael Chilufya Sata.
“Naku uzani kuti (I have told you that: Nyanja Translation) am doing this in honor of the memory of my mentor and I want it to be called after my Mentor, Michael Chilufya Sata.”
“I am not going to wait for the police post to be built for you to name it, I have named it myself, it is Michael Chilufya Sata Police Post,” he reiterated.

Mr. Lubinda was accompanied by the late President’s son Mulenga Sata.
