Money FM, ZAM sign MoU

• ZAM’s goals resonate with what the Money FM Radio station stands for.
• Money FM promotes entrepreneurship, SMEs, and local content.
• Money FM focuses on providing households and businesses with business information.

Money FM Business Radio and Zambia Association of Manufacturers (ZAM) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at promoting the country’s manufacturing sector.
Speaking during the signing ceremony on the sidelines of the Local Content Conference organized by ZAM, Money FM Radio Chief Executive Officer Nkhonde Fumbeshi said the MoU is timely because ZAM’s goals resonate with what the Radio station stands for.
Mrs. Fumbeshi stated that Money FM aims to promote entrepreneurship, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and local content, while providing businesses and households with accurate business information.
“We as Money FM are excited because the MoU and Zambia Association of Manufacturers’ goals resonate with what we stand for. We at Money FM promote entrepreneurship, SMEs, and we are also very much into promoting local content,” Mrs. Fumbeshi said.
She added that under the partnership, various manufacturers who are affiliated to ZAM will be featuring on a live Radio Program which airs every Wednesdays at 11:00hrs to discuss issues affecting the manufacturing sector.
“As Money FM, we also aim to see businesses grow, and as such our focus is on providing households and businesses with business information and also to ensure that people within our communities are also able to make good business financial decisions and this partnership comes at the right time when entrepreneurship and promotion of SMEs is a cardinal point in developing this nation, so we are very much excited,” she added.
And Zambia Association of Manufacturers (ZAM) President Ezekiel Sekele thanked Money FM Business Radio for partnering with the Association in promoting the growth of the industry.
Mr. Sekele said the Association will be looking forward to communicating its activities with the members.
