ZEHEST Executive Director Clarence Muzyamba tells Money FM News that establishing manufacturing industries for value addition is among the ways the state can create a job creation environment for Small and medium Enterprises to thrive seeing government has a responsibility to create employment.

Mr. Muzyamba highlighted on need for government to reduce its borrowing rate in a bid to afford Zambians access to loans that will support their businesses.

“We have so much unemployment in our midst, government has duty to create Jobs,” said Mr. Muzyamba.

He has further proposed for establishment of a graduant centre where people can take their Curriculum Vitaes’ (CV’s) and find employment easily.

Mr. Muzyamba also appealed to government to give contracts to local people in a bid to boost the economy as a way of actualizing into Job creation.

“Local people will work as brick layers, carpenters, electricians, metal fabricators etc.,”adding that the country’s gross domestic product will increase as Money will remain in circulation,” he said
