Central Province Expo opens

Central Province Minister Sydney Mushanga says the Central Province Investment form and Expo will be used as a tool to attract foreign investment.

Speaking in an interview with our staffer Hope Musonda from Kabwe at the ongoing Central Province Investment Expo, Mr. Mushanga so far two hundred exhibitor’s both local and international are exhibiting at the expo.

He adds that out of the two hundred exhibitor’s seventy one of them have paid participation fee.
Mr. Mushanga says the organizing committee is still receiving exhibitor’s both local and foreign even at the eleventh hour.

The Minister has further charged that the investment forum and Expo signifies the rewriting of the history of Central Province.

He says Central Province is an agriculture province and most of the food consumed in the country comes from Central Province.

Meanwhile, a Lusaka based entrepreneur exhibiting at the Central Province Investment Forum and Expo says the nation needs more of such initiatives in supporting the growth of businesses.

Victoria Mateyo feels provincial investment forum and expo has come at a good time when Zambia is encouraging local SMEs to grow their businesses.

She says investment forum and Expo are a platform for SME’s to learn on how best to grow their businesses.

She also says investment forums provide an environment for SME’s to network and share business ideas on how to best to grow their businesses.

She further commended the Central province administration for holding the event.
