ZRA expands Mobile Compliant Unit

The Zambia Revenue Authority says it has expanded its Mobile Compliant Unit to tackle smuggling of goods in and out of the country.
ZRA Corporate and Communications Manager Topsy Sikalinda says smugglers should watch out for the unit during this festive season as this is the time cases of smuggling are rampant.
Mr. Sikalinda explains that previously, the unit was only present in Lusaka but that it has now being expanded and introduced to all corners of the country.
He says the units that have stationed at all the border entry points will not be withdrawn as they are permanently stationed on those points.
He was speaking this morning when he featured on Money FM Business Radio’s Knowledge at Money segment of the Business for Breakfast Show.
