An organization advocating for rights for the disabled says the absence of skills development and training will continue to make it difficult for people with disabilities to access employment.
Disability rights watch national Coordinator Bruce Chooma says there is therefore need to make inclusive education available for them at no cost.
He adds that underfunding for training for the physically challenged has been a challenge.
Mr. Chooma says to this effect, his organization has been advocating for the ministry of General education to establish a directory for inclusive education in order to have a department at ministry level dedicated to overseeing the welfare of the physically challenged in terms of education.
Meanwhile has commended the Zambia Information Communications Technology Authority (ZICTA) for investing in ICT to support the physically challenged in selected parts of the country.
ZICTA has invested two million kwacha in Information Communication Technology (ICT) equipment for selected special schools in the country.
The Disability Rights Watch National Coordinator says this is commended move as it is not leaving anyone behind.
