ZYAFAC calls on Zambians to help increase FDI

The Zambian Youths in the Fight Against Corruption has advised all players of the economy to avoid sentiments that may affect the inflow of foreign direct investment in the country.
Organization Executive Director Maurice Malambo says Zambia’s sectors need to be explored and hence the need to avoid anything that may work against the attraction of FDI.
Mr. Malambo says economic players must work together for the common goal of economically transforming the country.
He said patriotic Zambians must work on increasing investment flowing into the country by avoiding remarks that have potential to derail FDI.
“We need to work together as a country in terms of boosting investor confidence as this is key to sustainable economic development. We just want to encourage all sector players to ensure that we increase investment flow into the country in order to create jobs and increase economic activities,” he said.
Mr. Malambo stated that Zambia has potential to grow the economy because it is endowed with natural resources which needs to be explored.
