Some Chinese manufacturers reluctant to join ZAM

An association that promote the welfare of Manufacturers in Zambia has revealed that some Chinese manufacturers have opted to associate with the association while others have rejected joining the association.
Association Vice president for the Southern region, Chipego Zulu tells Money FM that majority of Chinese manufacturers have instead formed their own chamber of commerce to represent their interests.
Ms. Zulu has therefore reiterated for the enactment of the ZAM Act that seeks to have all manufacturers represented under one body in a bid to avoid fragmentation of associations.
Zambia Association of Manufacturers in partnership with Zambia-China Economic & Trade Cooperation Zone hosted an Investment Forum and Business Gala on 7th June 2019.
The Investment Forum and Business Gala was organized to enhance the relationship between ZCCZ and the Local Manufacturers
Zambia association of manufacturers registered organization is a business association which represents the interests of the entire manufacturing sector and other related economic and/or production sectors in Zambia.
