2020 national budget to determine stability of Kwacha against foreign currencies.

A Financial Expert says the 2020 national budget speech to be presented to Parliament this Friday will determine the stability of Kwacha against foreign convertible currencies.
Mr. Munyumba Mutwale says there a lot of uncertainties on the future performance of the Kwacha as investors are in doubt of what policies will be unveiled in the 2020 national budget.
Mr. Mutwale however says it is expected that the local currency will trade between 13-kwacha 15 ngwee to 13-kwacha to twenty ngwee against the US dollar in the last quarter of 2019.
The US dollar is buying at thirteen-kwacha four ngwee and selling at thirteen-kwacha twenty-nine ngwee.
