Citizens need easy access to Land

The Zambia Land Alliance has noted the need for citizens to have easy access to Land as the country celebrates its 55th independence which falls on 24th of October every year.
Alliance Executive Director Patrick Musole tells Money FM in an interview that acquisition of Land should not disadvantage local citizens at the expense of rich foreign nationals.
Mr. Musole observes that having land on title will enable citizens to use such documents as traceable collateral when seeking for capital from commercial banks and other lending institutions.
The theme for this year’s Independence Day celebrations is “”Our Freedom, our Country, our Responsibility”.
Zambia is today observing its 55th independence celebrations having attained the freedom from colonial ruler Britain on 24th October, 1964.
