BuyZed Campaign elated with structural engineering works at Kacholola.

BuyZed Campaign says it is impressed with the high levels of structural engineering exhibited by men and women in uniform who are working on the Bailey bridge near Kacholola area in Eastern Province.


Organization Chief Executive Officer Evans Ngoma said this has demonstrated that the country has abundant local human resource and expertise cable of performing wonders in the construction sector.
“The bailey bridge fitted by our men and men in uniform along the Great East Road in Kacholola is a greater milestone as they have done speedily to ensure the movement of goods and services is enhanced,” Mr. Ngoma said


Mr. Ngoma says government should empower them with State of the Art Machinery that can help in construction works of any nature so that the country does not out source for foreign expertise to come and carry out infrastructure development projects.
“We are looking forward to government empowering more of such so that we do not look outside Zambia for expertise to come and carry out our infrastructure development. We are looking forward to such a time that Zambia will have everything within its boundaries,” he stated.


Early this week, the Road Development Agency experienced a wash away 35km from Kacholola on the Great East Road and the road was completely closed to facilitate construction works.
