ZAMMSA dispatches health commodities to all provinces

• ZAMMSA has continued to receive new consignments of essential medicines and other medical supplies.
• Health commodities received so far include some essential medicines, laboratory products, and Covid-19 supplies.
• The Agency is working expeditiously to ensure that the health commodities are delivered.

Zambia Medicines and Medical Supplies Agency (ZAMMSA) says it has dispatched health commodities to all the 10 provinces of the country.
In a statement, Agency Public Relations Manager Patricia said ZAMMSA has continued to receive new consignments of essential medicines and other medical supplies.
Ms. Ndulinga stated that some of the health commodities that the agency has received so far include some essential medicines, laboratory products, blood grouping products, Anti-Malarial drugs, Anti-TB drugs and Covid-19 supplies among others.
“More products of different categories such as Ant-cancer drugs, laboratory products and other medical supplies and medicines are at different stages of the procurement process and delivery is expected in the coming weeks,” Ms. Ndulinga said.
She assured the public that the Agency is working expeditiously to ensure that the much needed life-saving health commodities are delivered and made available for use within the shortest period of time in all government health facilities.
