Technology improving Banking, Financial Services – BAZ

Bankers Association of Zambia says the delivery of banking and financial services has tremendously evolved following advancement in technology.
Speaking in an interview with Money FM News Association Chief Executive Director Leonard Mwanza says that payment platforms in rural areas have improved.
He says the digital payment system in rural areas are helping to ensure that people in rural areas are part of the banking landscape.
He says according to the association statistics are showing that there is a higher up take on the digital payment platform such mobile payment platform by banks and other mobile financial providers.
Mr. Mwanza however says that lack of access to network in some rural areas is one of the challengers affecting the digital payment system.
