2019 North West Expo excites Chamber of Commerce

The North Western Chamber of Commerce and Industry is confident that Zambia has potential to grow the country’s economy through various initiatives such as investment forums and expos.
Chamber President Makumbi Kafuta tells Money FM News that these events are openers of the five pillars of the economy.
Mr. Kafuta says there is also need to explore means and ways of marketing the tourism potential as it has potential to grow the country’s economy.
Mr. Kafuta says the chamber perceives the 2019 expo as an opener for the fast opportunities that exist in the province.
He says the sector is capable of creating North Western Province as an agricultural hub which will have a very strong base that will focus on exportation of commodities to neighboring countries.
Mr. Makumbi says the Agriculture sector is one of the areas where it is hoped to see this expo bringing a lot of opportunities by taking advantage of the market for agro produce which is very vast because of the neighboring countries like Congo and Angola.
