Agricultural and Commercial Cooperative Society of Zambia has revealed that the 94th Agriculture and Commercial show will take place this year after being postponed for two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Speaking at a media briefing, Society President Duncan Mfula said this year’s show will provide the biggest one stop platform for showcasing products and services, innovations and opportunities for information sharing, exchange of ideas as well as promote the work of many organizations to a larger audience.
“The Zambia Agricultural and Commercial show is the country’s most prestigious show that has a renowned networking custom for many Members of our community and countries across the country,” he said.
Mr. Mvula stated that the show, which will run from 27th July to 1st August 2022, will be held under strict adherence to Covid-19 health guidelines.
“The Society is working closely with Ministry of Health and Zambia National Public Health Institute, to ensure that all health measures are put in place for the successful hosting of the show,” he said.
And Mr. Mvula noted that the Agricultural and Commercial Show is important as it provides a seasonal market place that attracts local and foreign economic players.
He commended both local and Foreign Exhibitors who showed interest and commitment to participate in this year’s show and for their continued support to the society.
“We would like to encourage Exhibitors to sign up for spaces and start preparing their stands now in order to give them that attractive and outstanding look during the show,” he added
This year’s 94th Agriculture and Commercial show will be held under the theme ‘Innovation through Technology – Technology Transforms Businesses.
