At the end of today’s trading session on the Lusaka Stock Exchange, a total of 51,040 shares in 28 deals, corresponding to a market value of ZMW 56,959.02, were traded. Nine equities participated in trading, ending with only one gainer, namely CECZ, with 10% share price appreciation. PUMA recorded the highest volume of 38,647 traded shares, followed by CCAF (9,500), ZABR (1,701) and ZMBF (590). Regarding the performance of LuSE market indices, the benchmark LuSE All Share Index (LASI) moved up 50.79 (0.97%) points to close at 5,295.45, representing a 1-week gain of 1.12%, a 4-week loss of 3.21%, and an overall year-to-date loss of 0.6%.
