Local entrepreneurs urged to embrace technology

The just ended World Export Development Forum which was held in Lusaka has given hope to the women folks who are entrepreneurs with a feel of hitting the international markets, says BuyZed Campaign Founder Evans Ngoma.

Mr. Ngoma tells Money FM News that the campaign has noticed that the micro sector which contribute over 80% to the country’s growth domestic product lacks financing to employ new technology as they make strides in manufacturing of various items.

Mr. Ngoma is glad that the Development Bank of Zambia (DBZ) was on hand to offer financing solutions to the SMEs at the just ended forum.

Mr. Ngoma says access to finance is critical to the development and growth of the SMEs sector hence the need to support them in this area.

He is further encouraging local entrepreneurs to embrace new technology if they are to succeed in their businesses.
