Tech and Innovation Stiffens competition in Banking and Insurance industries

Chief Executive Officer of Black Dot Media David Kombe notes that Technology and innovation has stiffened competition in the Banking and insurance industries.

He has cited the introduction of electronic financial services as such as mobile apps and Visa Cards among others.

Mr. Kombe whi is also chairman of Mulundu holdings was addressing the 2018 Rising Professionals Summit in Lusaka on the topic “Role of branding in effective strategy implementation”.

Also Speaking at the Summit, Economist Chibamba Kanyama has observed that innovations and Technological developments have brought about radical transparency in industries.

Mr. Kanyama says the growing dependence on computers has led businesses today to shift focus from Making Profits to Empowering employees and Customers.

Mr. Kanyama made the remarks when he spoke about the role of innovation and technology in making Strategies work.

The summit was held under the theme Making Strategies work in the 4.0 industrial Revolution.
