Tourism Master Plan good for Zambia’s tourism sector – Sikwela

The Ministry of Tourism and Arts has hailed the decision by cabinet to approve the Tourism Master Plan saying it will enhance the development of the tourism sector.
Zambian cabinet has approved the Tourism Master Plan that will spur development of the country’s tourism sector.
The cabinet approved the Tourism Master Plan for the period 2018 to 2038, a 20-year practical development strategy to enhance the economic contribution of the tourism sector to the southern African nation’s economy.
Ministry of Tourism and Arts Permanent Secretary Dr. Howard Sikwela says the master plan will focus on restoring and enhancing the tourism sector.
Dr. Sikwela says the master plan will focus mainly on the infrastructure of the country’s tourism sector.
