Kwacha forecast to reach 12.4 against dollar.

The Business Telegraph has says there is a 60 percent chance that the Kwacha will trade to a strong of 12.4 and 12.8 against the US dollar in the medium term.
The Telegraph says it expects the local currency to rally between 12.6 and 12.7 having closed at 12.77 on Friday.
It says the strengthening of the local currency is despite still having tight liquidity in the local financial market.
According to the Telegraph, the local currency will be pushed by mid year tax payments which are falling due.
It says Corporates will have to convert their dollars to Kwacha to raise funding to meet their tax obligations.
