Athletes hit top gear ahead of Teulings Youth Sports Challenge grand finale

The athletes at OYDC Zambia have up geared for the 2023 Teulings Youth Sports Challenge grand finale set for November at the sports centre.

Young athletes turn up every weekend to compete in various including football, netball and teqball.

Teqball coach Richard Mulenga says the competition is getting tense as most of the teams that show up at the facility are anxious to get rewarded with trophies and medals.

Mulenga, who is head coach of OYDC Teqball Club, is upbeat about the games organized by the centre management even as the season draws towards its conclusion.

Teqball player Mutale Chishimba says he is confident that his teammates will at the end of the year be crowned champions in the Teulings teqball championship.

The Teulings Challenge has over 500 athletes competing in the three sports disciplines, teqball, football and netball.
