Commerce, Trade and Industry Permanent Secretary Kayula Siame has urged the private sector in Central Province to take keen interest in the BuyZed Campaign.

Ms Kayula Siame says the campaign is creating demand for locally produced products.

She says Central Province has vibrate SME’s that are contributing greatly to the expansion of economic activities in the Province and country.

She says trade and investment is critical at regional level.

Ms Siame says her ministry has created a lot of markets outside the country one of which is Africa Continental free trade area an initiative that will allow SME’s to have access to about one point five billion people on the continent of Africa with the GDP of three point four trillion.]

She adds that the investment forum and Expo will leave a huge mark in terms of trade and investment in Central Province.

She was speaking during a presentation at the ongoing Central province Investment forum and Expo.
