Economy may grow by 37 billion dollars through the legalization of cannabis-Sinkamba.

Green Party Leader says the decision taken by government to legalize cultivation, processing and exporting of cannabis for economic and medicinal purposes is the right step in boosting the country’s economy. 
Speaking in an interview with Money FM News, Peter Sinkamba has since advised government to adhere to his business model in order to achieve the intended objective of economic growth.
“The government should adhere to our business model so that they do not go wrong in wanting to grow the economy by legalizing cannabis” Mr Sinkamba said.
He explained that if government adheres to his business model the country’s economy may grow by 37 billion dollars about 7 times of the national budget. 
“Government may fail to achieve the intended objective of economic growth if does not follow our business model” Mr Sinkamba said.
He has since commended government for taking up the idea to legalize cannabis for medicinal purposes in a bid to grow the economy.
Cabinet Office has approved in principle, the cultivation, processing and exporting of cannabis for economic and medicinal purposes.
Cabinet has since directed Ministry of Health to provide overall leadership and coordinate the issuance of licenses for the cultivation, processing and export of cannabis for medicinal purposes under the Dangerous Drugs, CAP.
