Fuel generation from polymer waste such as discarded tyres, plastic, and rubber.

The Zambia National Students Union has commended recent research findings undertaken by Lecturers at the University of Zambia such as an innovation to generate fuel from plastic.
Union president Mr. Misheck Kakonde tells Money FM in an interview that such innovations will motivate students to aspire to work hard in their studies thereby promoting creative thinking in learners.
A University of Zambia School of Engineering, Lecturer and Researcher, Dr. Sam Sichilalu, recently developed an innovation designed to generate fuel from polymer waste such as discarded tyres, plastic, and rubber.
And other University of Zambia Lecturer and Researcher Katendi Changula developed a rapid Ebola Virus Disease diagnostic test kit.
