Indo Zambia Bank unveils Fast Serve Agency Banking facility

• The agency banking facility brings utmost convenience for customers and indeed the general public.
• It essentially brings the bank closer to everyone through the network of agent outlets.
• Indo fast serve has been developed to enable customers to access banking facilities easily and conveniently.

Indo Zambia Bank says its Fast Serve Agency Banking facility will foster the digital transformation, financial inclusion as well as Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) development agenda being pursued by government.
Speaking during the launch of the facility, Bank Managing Director Kowdichar Shashidar said the Indo Fast Serve Agency Banking will also contribute to spurring economic activities as customers can send and receive money, withdraw and deposit cash, buy airtime and much more services.
Mr. Shashidar stated that with the launch of the facility, over 112 direct jobs have been created.
“The agency banking facility brings utmost convenience for our customers and indeed the general public as it essentially brings the bank closer to everyone through the network of agent outlets.”

“Indo fast serve has been developed to enable customers to access our banking facilities easily and conveniently without difficult and reliance on only our branch network and the limitation of banking hours,” Mr. Mr. Shashidar explained.

He further said the bank’s core mission is fostering and enabling economic development, therefore the Indo Fast Serve is a clear manifestation of the financial institution’s mission.

Mr. Shashidar added that the Bank has invested substantially in digitalization and Information Technology (IT) to meet and exceed its customers’ expectations.
He explained that the facility brings benefits for both corporate and retail customers as it will efficiently enable business transactions, savings and access to instant banking services.

“Further, the bank has on boarded a wide network of agents across the country to ensure our customers and the general public are able to access banking services, with the bank currently having on boarded over 1000 agents.”

“In addition, we will also be partnering with digital Paygo who have over 10,000 agents and Cactus financial services that have agents dotted in unbanked districts across the country including other independent agents to create an extensive agency network encompassing a diverse coverage for the convenience of our customers and the general public,” he added.
He assured Customers, Agents and the general public of the bank’s Long-Haul commitment and support.
