Installed towers good for business – Zamtel

The State-owned Telecommunication Communication Company, Zamtel says the installed communication towers across the country is impacting positively on small businesses especially in rural areas.
And the telecommunication company says that its revenue base has silently increased following the installation of communication towers in various parts of the country.
Zamtel Acting Corporate Communications Manager Changwe Kabwe has told Money FM News in an interview that people in areas where the communication towers have been installed are using the connectivity to source for better market for their produce.
Mr Kabwe says that the installation of the towers is also enabling Agro dealers to operate effectively as farmers and the Agro dealers are able to communicate without difficulties.
He adds that the installation of communication towers has also made it easy for boarding school administration to effectively communicate with parents of the children at the school.
He adds that the telecommunication company wants to reach the universal access coverage target through the installation of these towers.
Mr. Kabwe is confident that that the projects will be completed successfully.
