Kansanshi Dynamos Football Club says the Northwestern Provincial Health Director has directed the club to suspend any games and training sessions until the team is engaged and cleared to continue.
In statement, the club stated that it has since complied with the directive and is now waiting for the office of the Director of the Provincial Health to engage and clear the club.
The Northwestern based club disclosed that all players, technical staff and support staff are in self-isolation and have been directed to stay home.
Kansanshi Dynamos have also refuted social media reports suggesting the directive to self-isolate is from the main sponsors of the club, Kansanshi Mining.
The club further said it remains focused and determined to complete all its remaining fixtures as long the environment remains enabling.
The club has revealed that will inform all its stakeholders accordingly on further developments regarding the situation.
Kansanshi Dynamos are currently 15th on the table with 26 points after 25 matches played which has seen them post 6 wins, 8 draws and 11 defeats.
