Lafarge appoints new CEO

The Board of Directors of Lafarge Zambia Plc has announced the appointment of Jimmy Khan as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer effective 12th February, 2019.
Mr. Khan has replaced Vincent Bouckaert, who left the company last year in December.
In a brief statement issued via sponsoring broker, Stockbrokers Zambia Limited, the board of the company has congratulated Mr. Khan on his appointment as Managing Director and CEO.
In a statement on Lusaka Securities Exchange (LuSE) issued by Company Secretary Harriet Katongo says the board has since wished Mr. Khan the best.
“Pursuant to section 3.59 of the LuSE Listings Requirements, the Board of Directors of Lafarge Zambia PLC (“Lafarge” or the “Company”), wishes to announce the appointment of Mr. Jimmy J. Khan as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer effective 12 February 2019, read the statement.
