Money FM scoops the 2020 EAZ award

Money FM Business Radio Station has scooped the 2020 Economics Association of Zambia Award in the Best Business Radio Station category.
The award was presented by the Finance Minister, Dr Bwalya Ng’andu during the Economic Association of Zambia (EAZ) 2020 Annual Gala Dinner in Lusaka under the theme: “Economic Resilience post the Covid-19 Pandemic.”
And speaking after receiving the award, Money FM Zambia Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder Nkhonde Fumbeshi says the award is a testimony to the significance of Business, Economics and Personal finance information and analysis in the Media.

Mrs. Fumbeshi said the focus for the Business Talk Radio Station, is to continue disseminating business, economics and personal finance content to help develop the country’s economic sector.

“I am deeply honoured and grateful to receive the award from the Economics Association of Zambia (EAZ) for the Best Business Radio content for 2020 on behalf of the Money FM Radio Team,” she said.

She noted that the award proves that Zambia needs more business people, more innovators and entrepreneurs to contribute to the economic activities of the nation.

Mrs. Fumbeshi further expressed gratitude to the Money FM Board of Directors, and members of staff, professional contributors and listeners.

“I want to thank our listeners, because without their dedication and unwavering support through our various platforms such as the Mobile App, Website, Facebook, and the FM Radio the success of Money FM would not be possible, hence our primary goal is to meet the needs of our listeners,” Mrs. Fumbeshi said.
The Economic Association of Zambia Award comes barely a year after the Radio Station won the Bank of Zambia (BOZ) Governor’s Award for Exceptional Financial Literacy Media Reach in 2019.
