Money FM Business Radio has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Zambia that will focus on amplifying ACCA’s thought leadership agenda through its’s professional insights research reports in a series of bespoke live streaming events and radio shows.

Speaking during the signing ceremony of the partnership, Money FM Business Radio Chief Executive Officer Mrs. Nkhonde Fumbeshi said that the partnership with ACCA will enhance not only the creation of businesses but making them efficient which in the long run will have a positive impact on society.

Mrs. Fumbeshi noted that as a Media house that strives to accelerate entrepreneurship investment in business, it is eager to associate with organizations that push the radio station’s agenda.

“Money FM radio believes that to develop the country and improve the livelihood of many Zambians, there is need to create efficiency in the business fraternity,” she said

Mrs. Fumbeshi has since thanked ACCA for according Money FM Business radio an opportunity to partner with it as partnerships are relevant in growing each other’s mindsets.

And speaking at the same event, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Country Director Janice Matwi said partnerships have become the cornerstone of transformation and success in post pandemic world.

“We believe that our community will benefit from amplifying the transformation of the profession and our economy, one conversation at a time through our thought leadership and industry professional insights reports,” she said.

Ms. Matwi further noted that for economies and societies to flourish, there is need for financial infrastructure, expert leadership and confidence created by an ethical accountancy profession that thinks ahead.

She said professional accountants are the super- connectors who speak the global language of business and finance, enabling organizations to leverage opportunity, grow, transform and make the right decisions.
