Re-opening of Alick Nhata road to contribute to decongestion project

Lusaka City Council says the re-opening of Alick Nhata road in Mass Media area will contribute to the decongestion of the long acres area.
Lusaka Mayor Miles Sampa says the closure of the road was initiated by the Public Service Pensions Fund in order to give an elbow room for the mega structure construction of Long-acre’s Mall.
Mr Sampa says the newly constructed project will not only contribute to the Public Service Pensions Fund investment portfolio, but to the growth of Zambia’s economy.
He says among other benefits, the project comes forth with a Mall, Entertainment Centre, Office block and a Hotel.
Mr Sampa spoke in a speech that was read on his behalf by Lusaka Deputy Mayor Christopher Shakafuswa.
