SCAY impressed with 2020 examinations

Supreme Council of African Youths (SCAY) Zambia says the manner in which examinations have been conducted this year reflects the commitment and efforts teachers and government have towards uplifting the educational standards in the country.
Organization President Kebby Zumani has since commended government and the teachers for the manner in which this year’s national examinations for grades 12, 9, and 7, have been conducted.
Mr Zumani says his organization has observed that generally, this year no case of examination malpractice has been recorded compared to the previous years.
“The manner in which examinations have been conducted this year is a reflection of the dedication, commitment and efforts our teachers and the government through the ministry of education are making towards uplifting the nation’s educational standards and enhancing the quality of secondary school graduates,” he said.
He has also urged teachers in the country to continue exhibiting professional conduct exhibited during this year’s examinations.
“Special thanks also go to our able teachers for the professional conduct exhibited as well as the pupils for the manner in which they have been conducting themselves during the examinations
Mr Zumani further commended the pupils for the manner in which they conducted themselves during the examinations.
“This year no riotous incident among school pupils was reported, I also urge all incoming grade12s, 9s, and 7s to stay focused towards their studies and shun such bad vices as smoking, beer drinking, substance abuse, premarital sex, as these are not only detrimental to their own lives but the adverse effects also impact on the wellbeing of their communities and the nation at large,” he noted.
