Tourism sector sees improvement since reopen

Ministry of Tourism and Arts has observed major improvement at the Victoria Falls since the reopening of the sector.
Public Relations Officer Zacks Sakabilo told Money FM News in an interview that the sector experience major challenges during the six months it was closed but has seen extreme improvement since it was reopened, with over seven thousand people visiting the Victor falls.
“Performance of the sector since the reopen has been really impressive and as at last week we recorded over seven thousand visits at the Victoria Falls alone,” Mr. Sakabilo.
Mr. Sakabilo has since called on the public to take Minister of Tourism Ronald Chitotela’s advice to participate in intra-travel tourism as a mean to market and fully benefit from the sector.
“We are optimistic that the sector will continue to improve as the world learns to live in the new normal of the covid-19 and prepares to entire 2021,” He added.
