Trade Kings to set up biggest plant at Lusaka South MFEZ

State House says President Edgar Lungu has given full support to the Trade Kings Group Limited to set up what they are calling the biggest Manufacturing Plant in Southern Africa in the Lusaka South Multi Facility Zone.
Presidential Spokesperson Amos Chanda says the expansion plan will be done in partnership with ZCCM-IH under a new production Line.
Mr. Chanda says the group has also informed the president about their plans to increase production from the current 240 Metric Tonnes to about a billion metric tons.
He was speaking when he briefed the Media about the discussions between President Lungu and the representatives of the Trade Kings Group when they held a closed door meeting at State House today.
And Mr. Chanda says President Edgar Lungu has encouraged the company to venture into businesses that create wealth through the entire value chain to also benefit Zambians and not only benefit the elite.
He says the Ministry of Commerce trade and industry has since been directed to ensure that “all the bureaucratic bottlenecks that slow down industrialization are taken out.
