Zambia can become investment, trade hub in SADC – Investment Consultant

A Solwezi based Investment Consultant says Zambia can become an investment or trade hub in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region through the promotion of expos.
Kenny Sinyangwe has told Money FM News that the North Western Province Expo will therefore link the province to the global world.
Mr. Sinyangwe said August’s expo has potential to make Zambia become a trade hub in the SADC region with linkages in the Lobito Corridor.
He is confident that the expo will boost Foreign Direct Investment going into the region.
He said the province has various investment potential in sectors such as mining, real estate, agriculture, transportation, tourism and education.
Mr. Sinyangwe stated that the expo will indeed unveil the hidden wealth in the province.
The Solwezi based Investment Consultant also said the expo will revive the pineapple industry which he said has remained untapped.
