Association President Leonard Mwanza says this shows that the efforts being made b stakeholders to increase financial literacy on the country are yielding positive results.
Mr. Mwanza has added that a lot of milestones have been achieved with the National Strategy on financial education, particularly having financial education as part of the school curriculum.
He was speaking in an interview with Money FM News ahead of the Financial Literacy week which will be commemorated on the 25th to 31st of march 2019 under the theme “be money smart to live a better life”.
The Financial Literacy Week is an annual public awareness campaign on financial literacy concepts that help people make informed financial decisions.
