802 New Covid-19 cases from 49 Districts

The Ministry of Health says the county has recorded 6 deaths and 802 Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours.
According to the latest Covid-19 update the cases have been recorded from 49 Districts of the Country, with Lusaka being the highest with 212 cases, Kabwe with 153 cases while Choma has recorded 103 cases.
The Ministry says 2 facility deaths have been recorded in Kabwe, 2 in Lusaka, 1 in Livingstone and 1 in Mansa.
“The cases have been recorded from the 11.714 tests conducted in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cumulative cases recorded since the outbreak of the pandemic to 662.227,” the statement read.
The ministry added that Covid-19 deaths stand at 150 while Covid-19 associated deaths stand at 273 bringing the total number of deaths to 423.
It also said 308 recoveries have been recorded in the last 24 hours bring the total number of recoveries to 19,980
It further disclosed that active cases now stand at 3,894.
