89 companies confirm participation in Central Province Expo

Eighty nine companies have confirmed participating in the forthcoming Central Province Investment Expo scheduled for next month.

Central Province Permanent Secretary Chanda Kabwe, says the eighty nine companies have shown interest in exhibiting at the forth coming investment forum expo in Central province.

Mr. Kabwe has told Money FM News that out of the eight nine companies, seventeen of them are foreign companies.

Mr. Kabwe is optimistic that the companies that have shown interest in exhibiting at the expo will be able to invest in the province after the event.

He says the sectors being considered for investment include Agriculture, Mining, Agro-Processing, Tourism, Energy and infrastructure, Manufacturing, and Forestry.

Central province will from the 8th to the13th of October hold the investment forum expo to showcase investment potential in various sectors in an effort to grow the economy in the province.
